Volunteer with us at the Thai Songkran Festival!
We need your help! Join API Equality-LA in outreaching to the Thai community at the Thai New Year Songkran Festival in Thai Town. Sign up for a shift today and help us reach as many APIs and supporters as we can.
We invite you to join our team of volunteers who will be out talking to festival participants about equality for the LGBT community. This is the perfect event for new volunteers. Come talk to community members, meet fellow activists, having an amazing time, and receive a Free API Equality-LA T-shirt!
If you can’t speak Thai – that’s okay! Thai-speakers are welcome, but not required. However, if you do speak Thai or know someone who speaks Thai, please let us know! We would love to reach out to them. With thousands of attendees every year, this is a great way to reach out to and make an impact in the community.
Trainings and a script will be provided for all volunteers, so don’t worry if you’ve never done this before. To volunteer, please email us with your name, phone number, shift, and language capacity.
