Lantern Festival 2014

API Equality-LA invites you to join us in Downtown L.A. for the 13thAnnual Los Angeles Lantern Festival. This exciting community event marks the closing of the Lunar New Year festivities with engaging community booths, beautiful lanterns, live entertainment, music, arts & crafts, food trucks and a beer garden.

On Saturday, March 1st, API Equality-LA will be talking to festival-goers to make sure that API folks are an active, vocal and visible part of the fight for LGBT rights. In order to do that, we will be identifying supporters and recruiting volunteers! As this festival generally draws a younger, very progressive crowd, this is a perfect event for first-time and new volunteers!

Please help us speak to members of the community at the Los Angeles Lantern Festival and make a difference in our movement toward equality! Every volunteer will be trained and a free API Equality-LA shirt!
