Thousands of anti-gay activists are calling California voters to trying to get them to vote Yes. The NO on Prop 8 campaign is currently behind in the polls and the opposition is outfundraising us. We have a lot of work to do; this is going to come down to the wire! We only have until November 4th to persuade voters and shore up our supporters to vote NO on 8. No matter how the media will spin polling information, we know that the only way we can win this thing is if we talk to enough voters who will vote NO!
The work that API Equality-LA is doing is parallel to what the general statewide campaign is doing (volunteer recruitment and voter ID), with a focus on Asian and Pacific Islander Communities.
Join API Equality-LA at a phone bank to educate undecided voters on Proposition 8 and urge them to VOTE NO in November.
