API Equality-LA Outreach at SGV Pride

The San Gabriel Valley has the largest concentration of Chinese American communities in the United States.

Volunteers who sign up to volunteer at SGV Pride will be volunteering to create a safe space to educate and raise awareness for the LGBT community and install a sense of pride in its members.

When: Sunday, September 13th, 2009

If you sign up, you'll get a free shirt and of course, admission is FREE. Here are the shifts:

API Equality-LA outreach volunteer
Shift 1: 12:00pm - 3:30pm
Shift 2: 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Where: Memorial Park in Pasadena at the corner of Raymond and Holly next to the METRO GOLD LINE Station for those who would like to use public transport.

What to bring: SGV Pride is outdoors so bring appropriate protective sunglasses/sunscreen/hats. Festival organizers will be providing water for those volunteering for them.
