This year we are honoring Asian Americans Advancing Justice-LA (AAAJ-LA) and LGBTQ civil rights pioneer Andre’ Ting. AAAJ-LA was instrumental in the creation of API Equality-LA and has played a pivotal role in advancing support for LGBTQ equality in the Asian Pacific American community. Andre’ Ting was a founder of the first Asian American LGBT organization in Southern California, Asian Pacific Lesbians and Gays, and has been a leader of both the Chinese Rainbow Association and the San Gabriel Valley API PFLAG chapter.
Our celebration will be hosted by riKu Matusda and feature a musical performance by Rey Fukuda Salinas!
Come celebrate our achievements this past year and honor some of our strongest community partners at our annual anniversary event!
We will have an opening reception, lunch buffet, entertainment and a few words from members of our organization. Tickets tend to sell out, so buy yours early! We look forward to seeing you there!
